The program itself is a spin-off (fork) of the popular VisualBoyAdvance project which has been discontinued so there's obviously a lot in common between the two different, but similar emulators. If you're a fan of Game Boy games and in particular, Game Boy Advance games, then VisualBoyAdvance-M is a great little Game Boy and Game Body Advance emulator that has no issues playing most GBA ROM files.
